Welcome, new level designer! We're nearing a project milestone, and we need YOU to GUIDE OUR PLAYERS!

After years and years of experience in paint-following through numerous AAA game releases, you can finally step in the shoes of the paint painter and help the (AI Controlled) player find their way!

The game is available in browser and in standalone windows build, and only requires a mouse!

The version on this page is the PATCHED, POST-JAM VERSION! You can still get the Jam version in the downloads.

i find it funny that the game tester can do parkour whilst keeping their full attention on the door

This game is very cool. Best thing is the character looks similar to Nathan Drake. I like it.

Congrats on making top 20 in the GMTK Jam! I wanted to reach out to ask if anyone on the dev team would be interested in participating in an interview about your experience during the jam? Interviews are conducted over Discord and presented live on Twitch.

Hey! Sure, do you have an idea of the date/time/duration?

I typically run streams on Fridays between 3:30 PM - 5:30 PM EST, though I'll be taking a 1-week break because of the upcoming long weekend, so the next stream I am planing will be August 11th. Please let me know if you have any other questions about the interview / stream.
We can also connect on Discord, my username is;

beat all levels with one paint

it's absurd how much you managed to make the optimal solutions feel like something you'd actually see in a AAA game -- had a surprising amount of moments where the "player" went "aha! i see yellow paint on a ledge in the distance, now how do i get there"

That level of polishing is insane! Even the menu is juicy!

Really fun and cool concept, and cleverly executed. It's great that each level adds its little twist. None of them feel redundant or too laborious. And the humour throughout the whole game is sweet. Congrats for being selected in Mark's Top, you really deserved it!

This is the coolest concept!! I learned more from playing this game than I have in actual game design classes, lol. Amazing stuff, please make more like this!!

Oh this was a delight. Framing optimal clears as framerate optimization, how you have to learn player behaviors (eg. how much agency in motion they will demonstrate with a goal in mind) and the music too!

This is so fun. I would love to see this become a fully-fledged game!
